Teh Deadness!!

omg how dead is this blog! xD since i doubt anyone keeps track of it i think i'll sneak a post in!

a little update on myself right now...got into the animation in NTU's school of arts, design and media and it's been fun mostly...animation is fun but the electives i'm taking are not...Art history and basic media writing are both hell for me since i hate writing essays.

But enough of that! EOY 08 has been announced and i'm psyched 8D
some arts in the meantime too =P

Work Work Work

oh yea uni really kills time...haven't been doing ANY digital work ever since uni started...just don't need to use the comp or too busy to do so
and procrastinating isn't helpping too

BUT! the classes are actually really fun for me...the standard of the profs are really high too...i can actually gauge my own level against their international standards
and find out how low i register on their radars lol!

one of the classes i find most enjoyable is foundation drawing...i learn lots i didn't know before and am actually forced to use guidelines XD

i actually found some usefulness for those H pencils...they really give another dimension to the picture <3

ergh...2 days in and i already have a small pile of stuff to do for classes...-.-;;
definitly a big step from poly..NTU is like way bigger than Singapore Poly too D:
lol at least i think i'll lose some weight now XD

ahh inspired after i came back from watching the movie...felt i HAD to do at least 1 transformer...torn between bumblebee and optimus really but i went with optimus cause he's pretty much someone everyone can identify with even after his new face lift :P

was fun to do really esp the parts where it looks shiney...like lol but my eyes kinda hurt after though since i did this for 3hours straight. I thought of continuing with the body but damn i think i won't since i don't wanna torture myself again
and anyways, it looks nice like this ^_^

aka Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations
there's still a month more before the overseas version of the Japanese game is out...meaning the Japaneses/English version

and in light of the enthusiasm i'm having for the game...i promised myself i'd draw Godot, the prosecutor of the game :> and so i did...and here is the result:

i decided to try a more painting like style and to use more colours in the piece rather than the usual colours from the same colour range

ehh but i didn't quite do that for the face cause i'm still pretty scared of using weird colours on face >_< have to be more bold next time
i'm hoping i can do other characters from the game too...like Mia, Maya and Pearl :>

also, i have some prints of this if anyone wants lol

ever since photobucket made that size restriction with it's uploaded pics...it's been very painful for me...having to see pics great at a large size is kinda like a joy for me...and now...it's all gone :(
